I’m Timothy Lum, a Hawaiʻi-based creative technologist, builder, and entrepreneur born and raised on the Windward side of Oʻahu in Kāneʻohe. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a curiosity that pushed me to question how things work and why. That curiosity has shaped the way I move through life and work, building an unending hunger for growth across the many industries I’ve been part of. From event production and media to cabin crew, software development, and AI, I’ve always been drawn to learning new systems, understanding people, and finding better ways to bring ideas to life. My work focuses on turning ideas into useful, thoughtful, and visually engaging projects that support people, stories, and communities. I enjoy building at the intersection of creativity and technology, whether that means producing an event, creating photo and video content, designing a website, developing an app, or exploring how AI can make workflows more efficient and accessible. This portfolio brings together my work in photography, video, websites, apps, and creative technology. It reflects the different ways I like to build, tell stories, and use technology to support the people and communities around me.
